*Benson Baby!*

We are now residents of Benson!.... Well, for 3 1/2 months at least haha. Thank you Michelle & Ryan for letting us invade your basement apartment for a few weeks! Joey likes his classes so far and I'm loving watching Joey's nieces Trista & Ryleigh for Michelle while she is at work (nice practice ya know haha) So, for all you Logan people... get ready to have some fun this fall 'cause we're back!!! Haha

*Gotta Love Long Hair*

My hair is getting ridiculously long... But, I love it that way. The longest I've had my hair since I was little and all the way through high school was right above my shoulders. I made a vow when I was 18ish that I would NEVER cut my hair any more than 2 inches. 3 years later I had it grown out to down below my shoulders but.. I had a minor set back right before I got married when a lady instead of just adding a few more highlights to my hair completely bleached the WHOLE top of my head and then proceeded to "comb" (more like ripped) half my hair out literally. It was breaking and falling out left and right. SO, I then got the color fixed and have been using 100 different products (protein treatments, deep conditioners, strengthening shampoos... the works) for the past year and I've decided never to color or bleach my hair again. FINALLY it has gotten some thickness back and is growing like crazy. In the past year it's grown over 6 inches and still going. Joey told me he never wants me to cut it because it reminds him of when we first met and it was super long. As of right now it's right above my mid-back and my goal is to grow it down to my lower back (about 8 more inches) & never color it again. Lets see if I can do it! It's kind of a big challenge for me because I LOVE change. Plus, doing this kinda keeps me entertained haha

*Manis & A Date*

Can I just say how cute my Hubby is. Yesterday was rainy so he got to come home early because he couldn't hay in the rain. So, he started to take a nap while I did my nails, I looked up to see him watching me with this sweet expression on his face. He said he loves watching me when I get ready in the morning, or do my hair and especially when I do my nails 'cause I am so focused and usually don't know he's staring at me.
I told him I wanted to do french tips and he asked what that was. So, I told him to pick out a color he liked and I'd show him. He watched and chatted with me the whole time I painted my nails. He told me they were "very very pretty".
Afterwards he jumped up really fast and started to change his clothes and said he's taking me to Logan on a date.
I Love Him
Here's the color he picked :)

*Thankful Thursdays: My AWESOME Parents*

I LOVE my parents... They seriously are the best. I'm always wanting to send them thank you cards just to tell them how much they have and still do help me but I never know how to say it just right and how to express just HOW MUCH they mean to me. My heart aches to go back those years when I was younger and I took advantage of them or was mean and ungrateful towards them and change that. But, I can't so now I will spend the rest of my life letting them know how grateful I am for them and that they didn't disown me back when I was a little twerp haha. They are both so selfless and really are the best parents, I couldn't ask for even the slightest bit better parents, 'cause really they are perfect.
I love you Momma & Daddy!
Thank you for being my parents... Thank you for everything

*Thankful Thursdays: BE Thankful!*

I didn't want to write a post for today because I wasn't feeling too thankful today. I literally sat here and tried to think of something I could write about and all I could think about were things I wasn't thankful for.... like I don't feel good at all today, my stomach hurts, my head hurts, my throat hurts, my body hurts and I don't know why. My allergies started killing me the second I got back to Randolph from visiting in Rexburg yesterday. It's yucky outside. I want to ride my bike but can't seem to get any energy to do so. I miss my family so much. And worst of all I have to put Hagen down on Monday and I don't want to cry about it, she's such a happy dog and she makes me smile every time I see her, I don't want to loose that. Just little things that felt like they kept adding up.
So, instead of writing a post for today I just looked through other people's blogs and cruised around online feeling sorry for myself. That's when I realized that there are SO many people out there that have it unbelievably harder then I could even THINK of being. And you know what, they are still happy, and selfless, and upbeat, and living their lives to the fullest. I was so very disgusted with myself that I didn't want to think of something I was thankful for today. I feel so selfish right now. Sure these things happening to me aren't fun but they aren't that bad... and I'm thankful for THAT. I'm thankful I have such a wonderful husband, my parents, family & friends that still give me so much sympathy and support for such petty little issues like I am having today. I'm so thankful for the strong people out there who are dealing with their heartaches and trials with such decorum, strength and faith. You are such good examples for me. I'm thankful for a Father in heaven who is watching over me and knows my "trails" and is always there for me no matter what. I'm thankful for this blog for snapping me out of my self-pity moment and making me realize once again HOW MUCH I have to be so thankful for... that's why I started this kind of post in the 1st place.
