Camera & Classes:
Decided to save up for it. It might be awhile! Maybe will be using some tax return money on a down payment?? :)
Fit into "Skinny" Jeans:
I've lost 10lbs. Not very much when I think about how much I have to lose. Hopefully this month(April) will be better!
Natural Hair:
I resisted the urge to dye it darker when I went in and got a trim, wonderful deep condition and a shining gloss treatment. It's growing! Only a couple more inches until it's all "new" hair that hasn't been touched with dyes or bleach! It's finally getting thicker. I had a lady tell me that natural hair is "overrated". Whatever. I have been on both ends. I loved trying new things with my hair. But, the last time I tried something new with my hair the lady ruined it. Right before our wedding! I will have to write a post about it. It was traumatic. My hair hasn't been the same since. It used to be beautiful. It's slowly getting back to looking decent and being healthy and I'm not going to do anything to compromise that
Journal Besides Blog:
Umm, yeah, haven't even started one. I don't know if I'm even going to do this anymore. We'll see.
No Debt:
Just our trucks! I did have a couple tiny payments on our IPod I forgot we were still paying on haha. But, not anymore! Resisting the urge to just buy my camera on full credit... no money down. Will. Not. Give. In.
Quit Pop:
I've done SO good this month! I didn't count, but I know it wasn't many. I really don't even have the urge to sip one of Joey's even! I've realized pop screws with my Acid Reflux WAY too much, and I know how much better i could feel if I didn't drink pop! Doing good.
Love Ranching:
This month was pretty hard. Calving season can be awesome, and it, well can be not so awesome. I let it get to me too much, the death and the bad mother cows, the long long hours where I either was helping out or waiting for Joey to come home, the 2AM calls to come sew up at prolapse or pull a calf. I love ranching, I do. It's just hard, and where we live doesn't help matters much. I find myself wishing for paved roads, or convenient stores, or a nature park where I can get away and take the dogs. I'm just breathing, and taking it one day at a time. My husband loves everything about this life. I will too
Pregnant?
No {Sigh}
Be the best wife I could ever be:
I've "run away" to my parents a couple times this month. I have made it a point not to complain about things. But, I admit, I have left him with cooked meals stored in the refrigerator, detailed instructions on taking care of the pets and plants, recorded his shows and wrote him love letters... then, getting the heck outta dodge for a few days to "de-stress". Not very good wife skills :(
