*FINALLY*

Well y'all I did it...
I ORDERED MY CAMERA!
I decided to go all out and get the Nikon D7000. So it's 4 years newer than the Nikon D90. It's gorgeous. But, of course, it's on back order so I won't have it for a couple weeks. That's okay because I went and ordered the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8d lens, a camera case, a super cute camera strap, a couple memory cards, memory card computer plug-in, memory card case & an extra battery to go along with it all.... So, in other words.... I am broke. I am happy to say though that I bought it all with the money I earned and not a cent of Joey's. Finally, working 3 jobs has paid off! I am super excited to start learning all about my new camera and how to use it to perfection. I already have a bunch of friends lined up for photo shoots... lots of babies and ranch photos to come!!! I hope I can do my camera justice. I have some good teachers so I think I'll be okay :)

What else has been going on you ask?? (Okay so you probably didn't ask but I have had many people ask what the heck has been up the past few months since I am a loser and have no time to write on this thing anymore...).

Weeehelllll, I have been working, working and working. I have been at the station/shop most of the time. I have been working 5-6 days a week. Starting in a couple weeks I will be there only 2 days a week, but, I will be at my other, new, job also 2 days a week, and my other job 1-2 days a week. My other, new, job? I got a new job! I will be working for 2 twin brothers who re build & refinish old wooden boats, they also build brand new wooden boats. Their work is absolutely gorgeous! I will be helping them this all their paperwork, and pretty much adding a feminine touch to their shop (it highy needs it). I am excited because I will be making LOTS more than my others jobs and I make my own hours, and Scott & Kendall are great! I have been running errands for them the past couple of weeks while they have been at a boat show in Wisconsin, but I officially start at the office next week! My other job, I don't think I have ever mentioned it on here, is cleaning condos & cabins for an awesome lady named Heidi a couple days a week.

Sooo, between all of that I have been doing a lot of canning (if I ever get my pictures uploaded on here I will show you how yummy it's all been). LOTS of vegetables!!! Christi even helped me and I got to teach her the basics.

I have been trying to keep my house in order, and failing. In fact (cute story!), I came home after work last night with a HUGE list in my head of stuff I had to get done... Vacuum, clean the kitchen, do the dishes, do the laundry (Cinderella??), sweep, mop, tidy the living room & bedroom, and clean the gross bathroom. I walked in the house and heard the vacuum going... Then I got into the dining room and every things was clean and the dishing were going. I walked into the living room, spotless. Joey was on his hands and knees vacuuming on, under and all around the couch. I wanted to cry. So instead of staying up all night cleaning I got to make some soup, sit down and finally watch the 1 hour season premier of Modern Family, and I even got to read AND get to bed at a decent hour. I love my husband.

We've been going to a couple different state & county fairs. We were at the Utah State fair in SLC promoting beef by cooking sirloin steak sandwiches and one day I even got to do a cooking demonstration with my sis-in-law Nikki in front of a whole bunch of people. We made Breakfast Beef Sticky Buns... They are amazing (recipe to come). We were also at the Utah State Ag Days cooking kabobs. It has been a busy months promoting beef. I guess that's what I get being married to a rancher who's parents are in the Utah Cattlemen & Women's Association :)

Whelp, my hands are getting tired and I have to go home and cook dinner. Today has been my day off, so it's been loaded with dentist appointments, lunch date with Joey, errands errand errands, online shopping, bill paying & e-mail writing. So I better go home and get some more done while I'm on a roll!

*And FOREVER To Go*

Ummm wow, has anyone else noticed this little "ticker" deal on the sidebar of my blog??

------------------------------------------------------------------------>

I just glanced at it and realized it said we have been married now for 2 YEARS 1 MONTH 2 WEEKS AND 6 DAYS.... Crazy.

*Pillow Talk*

Joey's sister who we lived with last Fall had another beautiful little girl a couple weeks ago, so we went to visit and to see the new addition. While we were there I help the baby most of the time. There were lots of people there and so I tried to get Joey to hold her before we left. He informed me in hushed tones...

Joey:
"I don't like holding other peoples new little babies. I might break them"

Me:
"So what, you're never going to hold our babies when we have them??"

Joey:
"No, I'll hold our babies, I can break ours, I can just make a new one..."

Wow... That's my husband for you. I had to double check and make sure he wasn't serious. Haha.
