*Pillow Talk*

Over text messages:

Joey: "I've been demoted..."

Me: "What? How?"

Joey: "Farming :("

Me: "HA HA"

Joey: "Yup..."

Me: "Well, it has to be done"

Joey: "Oh you shut your face! Ok, you're right"

Haying season has come early around the Wine Cup. The pest control guy killed a large portion of our Alfalfa field last year so today Joey had to go get it ready to be reseeded. It's a good thing he's not a full time farmer, he'd be miserable. I love farming, but him... not so much haha.

*Wee Bit Wednesday #13*

{One} How far do you commute to work?
About 20 miles

{Two} If you could be any other person for one day, who would it be?
Some rich athlete. I'd have everything I wanted and a nice body haha

{Three} What is your favorite kind of cheese?
Brie. I LOVE it with some crackers and zesty mustard

{Four} Do you remember your 1st grade teacher?
My mom was my teacher until Jr. High

{Five} Who is the first person you call when you have a bad day?
I call Joey or wait for him to come home. Or I text my mom or my cousin Amber

{Six} Were you ever in a school talent show?
Nope

{Seven} What state were you born in?
Missouri

{Eight} Can you open your eyes underwater?
I can but I have wussy eyes and it stinks super bad so I don't do it

{Nine} Do you look at the keyboard when you type?
Only when I put my fingers on the keyboard not after that

{Ten} When was the last time you took a nap?
Not in forever. I love naps but if I take one than I don't sleep at night

Bonus Questions:

{Eleven} Do you watch the history channel? if so, what’s your favorite program?
Joey is always watching "Ax Men" and I, naturally, watch it too :) That is where we got the name Coatsy for our dog. There's a redheaded guy on there with the nickname Coatsy

{Twelve} What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?
Well, since it poured just yesterday and this is what we did and I was a big fan of it, I would have to say going to the temple. Even though it's super stormy and nasty outside, it was gorgeous and peaceful inside the temple :) I also, like most people, I like to cuddle up with a blanket on the couch and read a book. I also like doing crafts at my craft table right next to the window so I can hear the rain

*New Decor*

I had some space in my kitchen/dining room that needed something. So, I found this bookshelf for a great deal at a country store that was going out of business and my wonderful parents got it for me! The cast iron kettle was my (correct me mom) great-great-great? grandparent's. And the cast iron cornbread pan was my great grandmother's. I found the old seasoning tins, handmade lace doilies and the flour sifter at an antique store. The jars are just some of the MANY I have been using for canning. The tiny pine cones I picked up in Lake Tahoe. The antique drink cooler/dispenser was hidden away in my in-law's old bunk house. And the honey is family grown... and pretty, so I figured I would display it :)

*Branding 2011*

I have been a horrible blogger lately. This month has been crazy. Just busy busy busy. I am not complaining but, I do need to write some, if anything, just so I have some journal entries of this fun month.

This week has been jam packed with work, doctors appointments, craft get-togethers, and lots of cleaning. I was coming to terms with the fact that I wouldn't be able to make it to our winter range to help brand 1/2 of our herd. I was able to make it the last two years but I had to work when they first headed down and then I had no way to get there the last couple of days. I got a text from Joey's cousin Bri asking me if I would be able to go down with her for Friday and Saturday because they needed some hands. I was excited to actually get to go. (I did miss my good friend's baby shower and I am so sorry! I promise I have your presents and will get together with you soon!!!)

I was able to grab my camera for a few minutes to take some quick, sloppy pictures right before it started raining and when we were "slowing" down. So... enjoy :)

*Did You Hear??*

I have a couple awesome announcements!

Are you ready?.....

{1} I am a working woman :)
Okay, so I have had this job for about a month now but I never wrote about it (that I can recall). It's super easy and only about 20 hours a week. But, it keeps me busy and it's so fun. It's at a little service station called Dee's right on the lake. So it will start getting super busy this summer! I am excited, I have been wanting something to keep me more busy!

{2} MY BUG IS GETTING MARRIED!
My little sissy Christi is getting married to her Jr. High sweetheart Brett. I am so excited for them both! They decided to spring for an end of May wedding! Wow, so umm... like not even 3 weeks! So cute that they don't want to wait though :) Joey & I waited just over 4 months and that was long enough! Crazy? Maybe.
My baby sister is getting married................ I'm old.
(Sorry Bugs, I know you don't like this picture but I think it's cute!)

And last but certainly not least:
{3} My brilliant Husband is a College Graduate!!!

I am beyond proud of him! (and possibly, slightly jealous) He graduated with his Bachelors Degree with a Major in Agricultural Business & a Minor in Animal Science. He is so smart and I am so lucky to have such a hard working soul mate for all of forever. Congratulations Baby. I love you!

We are having a graduation dinner for him with family & friends, who ever wants to come.
May 20th @ 6:30
If you would like to try and make it please e-mail, call or text me and I will tell you where and get your name on the list! And sadly, even though we are no longer college students we are still poor :) So it is a "pay for your own meal" deal, but if you aren't able to we can definitely work something out, we would really just love to have you there to help me embarrass Joey more by putting him in the spot light! This is a big deal to me, I am so proud and excited to my boy!

Also, I have the cutest announcements for his graduation. He was too busy and wasn't able to walk so I am just doing "announcements" and not invitations. If you want one just shoot me an e-mail!

Jencyjojo_88@hotmail.com
(This is the face I'm sure I will be getting for making "such a big" deal over his graduation! haha)

*Pillow Talk*

After watching "The Next Three Days" and on our way to bed...

Joey: {fists balled like a boxer} "I'd bust you outta jail babe!"

Thank you Hunny, it's nice to know you'd do that for me if I ever am thrown in jail for a crime I didn't commit. You're the best :)
