Me: {Sigh} "You're always working" (way to state the obvious Jency...)

Joey: "I know. I think a long time ago someone screwed up and told ranchers to work 5-9 instead of 9-5"

Me: "Pshh, 5-9!? More like 4-11..."

Haying season has begun. Joey is now leaving before the sun comes up and long after it's gone down. Darn the person who decided to put lights on tractors... It was a man, obviously.  

I love my hard worker man.

*Pillow Talk*

Joey: "You're pretty and I'm funny, that's how this marriage works!"

Me: "You're such a liar...... You're not that funny."

Joey: :(

Me: "Just kidding babe. You make me laugh all the time see... 'Ha Ha'!" :)

Joey's sister who we lived with last Fall had another beautiful little girl a couple weeks ago, so we went to visit and to see the new addition. While we were there I help the baby most of the time. There were lots of people there and so I tried to get Joey to hold her before we left. He informed me in hushed tones...

Joey:

"I don't like holding other peoples new little babies. I might break them"

Me:

"So what, you're never going to hold our babies when we have them??"

Joey:

"No, I'll hold our babies, I can break ours, I can just make a new one..."

Wow... That's my husband for you. I had to double check and make sure he wasn't serious. Haha.

Over text messages:

Joey: "I've been demoted..."

Me: "What? How?"

Joey: "Farming :("

Me: "HA HA"

Joey: "Yup..."

Me: "Well, it has to be done"

Joey: "Oh you shut your face! Ok, you're right"

Haying season has come early around the Wine Cup. The pest control guy killed a large portion of our Alfalfa field last year so today Joey had to go get it ready to be reseeded. It's a good thing he's not a full time farmer, he'd be miserable. I love farming, but him... not so much haha.

After watching "The Next Three Days" and on our way to bed...

Joey: {fists balled like a boxer} "I'd bust you outta jail babe!"

Thank you Hunny, it's nice to know you'd do that for me if I ever am thrown in jail for a crime I didn't commit. You're the best :)

Since I am over at the ranch playing on the internet(if you didn't know, no, we don't have internet at our house and the ranch is 15 mins away, so I only get to update my blog when I am at the ranch and not doing something else... well, duh) and I've been here all day just hanging out, Joey had me tag along in the tractor to go load a friend up with about 10 round bales we sold him. And of course the pups had to tag along since Doc is connected to Joey's ankle and I'm still babying Dolly. And let me tell you, two adult humans, and two stinky dogs in a tractor cab on a snowy, bumpy road makes for an interesting time.

On the way back up the road it had started snowing big time...

Me: It's so crazy that the sun is shining full blast and it's a blizzard out.

Joey: Welcome to Heaven Baby! The sun even shines when it's snowin' here.

And to top off my husband's ridiculousness he starts spinning cookies with the tractor... The BIG tractor... Such a boy. Love him.

Last night in bed:

{I reach over to rub noses with Joey} and say, "Look, Butterfly kisses!"

Joey: "Actually those are Eskimo kisses, these {he tickles my eyelashes with his} are Butterfly kisses".

Me: "Oh right, I like Eskimo kisses better". {We rub noses some more}

{I then rub his nose kinda hard and slow with mine}

Me: "LOOK Eskimo french kisses!"

Joey: "O lala"

On the topic of "Jency stealing the covers"

Joey: "Hunny, it's not getting any better... It's getting worse."

Me: Laughing, "I CAN'T HELP IT, I'M ASLEEP FOR HEAVENS SAKE"

Joey: "It's like you do a Crocodile death role, {rolls his hands around and around} and wrap the covers around you as you go."

Over text while Joey was on his way to Randolph:

Joey: I made it to GC Lover

Me: Good! And with my computer so now I can't watch D Wives

Joey: Oh poop. I'm sorry Lover

Me: It's OK

Joey: :(

Me: I miss you more

Joey: No you don't

Me: Well,  I mean, my computer is a very very close second... but, I do miss you more

Joey: Yeah I bet :)

On Lauren's blog Me&Mine she has a new post idea called Pillow Talk Tuesdays.  Check it out!  I love hearing what kind of conversations other couples have.  Makes me feel less silly I guess you could say, or I'm glad it's normal to have very interesting/questionable conversations with my lover when I know other couples are too haha!  I love the idea so I'm gonna try it too, I already have a "tuesday" post I try and do weekly so I will just call mine "Pillow Talk".

Here was a very short, slightly personal, extremely funny conversation we had sometime today... (I apologized to anyone who takes offense or thinks this is "inappropriate" for a blog post)... with that said:

Joey: Nothin' better than sex and Journey

Me: ...... yeah you're so right 

So, enjoy future "Pillow Talk" full of conversations that are interesting, insightful and sometimes purely ridiculous :) :)

Oh my gosh, could you imagine if I were like 17 or 18 years old during the Bon Jovi: Slippery When Wet tour???... I would be ridiculous.  I already am over these guys and Def Leppard.  I was born 20 years too late gosh dang it.

                                      

Funny Story:

Me listening to Bon Jovi song clips and Joey goes:

"You're listening to him AGAIN?"

Me: "What? I'm not buying Bon Jovi music, why would you think that??"

Joey looks at the computer: "YOU'RE BUYING MORE BON JOVI? You already have all the songs!"

Me: "Well... not all the live songs" :)
